You know you are in MLM when your store is filled with different kinds of products, un-used, expired or the ones that are not relevant to your needs. There are something you need to consider before ordering for products.
For examples, they should be products that you can use for yourself or the ones you would be willing to share with friends. Most people get themselves initially involved in a company just for the purpose of buying wholesale. Before you know it, they become so serious with this.
Yes, getting into MLM starts with you buying products in wholesale from the company.
Whatever you choose to do with the products is your business. Although the primary purpose is to make use of them and recommend them to others based on your own conviction that the products was worth your purchase. But if you wish to, you can decide to sell some of the products at RETAIL and make your PROFIT.
But this has become the most common misunderstanding people have come to have about MLM, which is the notion that they must sell retail in order for them to be successful in the business.
Well, there are a whole lot of things that have to be mentioned concerning selling retail that shouldn’t be ignored. In some MLM programs, there is need for people to meet the required retail quota in order for them to qualify for a bonus.

One of the reasons why many people fail is because they try to do things the other way round, which is that they try to build the organization laying emphasis on selling the company’s products.
The word “selling” fires a weapon of negative thoughts in the minds of more than 90 % of the people. MLM does not require you to necessarily sell the products of the company you are representing in the traditional sense of the word (SELL).
However, there is still a need for the PRODUCTs to move, since that is where the compensation and the bonus come from. According to Don Failla, selling refers to “calling on strangers trying to sell them something they may neither need nor want.” But like I initially said, the products still have to move or nobody gets paid.
Another name people know MLM as is Network Marketing. So, you have to build your network in order to channel the product. By doing this, you are building your organisation. Although retailing is the basis of Network Marketing but Sales in Network Marketing or MLM or Network Marketing comes from the distributors, which is by SHARING the products with their relatives, neighbours, and friends. There is never the need for them go around to talking to strangers to make them buy.
In order for you to build a LARGE and SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS in Multi-level marketing, you need a BALANCE. There is need for you to sponsor people and teach them MLM. By doing, you will be able to build a customer base, simply by retailing to your relatives, neighbours and friends. You shouldn’t try to sell the world on your program all by yourself.
Don’t forget that MLM or Network Marketing is all about building an organization where a lot of distributors all retail. They just all need to retail a little, which is much more better than when a few people is trying to do everything. This is why there is no need for many MLM companies to spend large amount of money on advertisement, since it is exclusively done by word-of-mouth.
So, they have more money to develop their products. As a result of this, their products are high in quality. You can share these products with your friends since they are products of higher quality than the ones they have being using. You are just replacing the old brand of products they have been using with something you have come to realize to be better through your personal experience with the products.
See? This business is not about calling on strangers to come and buy some products or visiting them door-to-door. Most of the network marketing companies that I know teach their distributors to recommend and share their good quality products with their friends, families and relative. To the companies, this is what they view as “selling”. But I just like to go with SHARING, because that is what it is.
Take note: the wealth comes with building your own team or organisation, not from selling products, so you shouldn’t capitalize on selling. It could be stressful and frustrating; I believe you already know what I am talking about.
